The Aldo Novarese Font Collection
Reber R41 · Aldo Novarese

A digitised collection of typefaces by Aldo Novarese, drawn from the archive of Turin's historic Nebiolo foundry, preserving over six decades of Italian typographic heritage.
About
Reber R41 has assembled the most iconic designs of Aldo Novarese – one of Italy's foremost twentieth-century type designers – into a single collection sourced from the Nebiolo foundry in Turin. Titles include Eurostile, Recta, Dattilo, Estro and more than twenty others, each digitised to contemporary technical standards. The collection represents a sustained effort to maintain the legibility and character of the original metal and phototype originals.
Classification
A collection spanning multiple categories – grotesque sans-serifs, display faces, blackletters and slab serifs – all drawn from the work of Aldo Novarese at the Nebiolo foundry. No single category applies; display is chosen as the dominant heritage of the collection.
