A geometric sans-serif with soft forms inspired by the avant-garde graphic design of the 1930s and 40s, issued as a single Regular weight by Italian foundry Reber R41.
About
Etoile combines high geometry with rounded, approachable letterforms and a complete absence of stroke contrast. Its reference point is the modernist graphic language of interwar Europe, translated into a clean contemporary typeface. The family currently consists of a single Regular weight, available under personal and business licences with a trial version on request.
Classification
A strokeless, high-geometry sans-serif with soft curves, drawing on the avant-garde graphic tradition of the 1930s and 40s. The absence of contrast and clean forms place it firmly in the geometric sans category.
