Proclam specimen from Reber R41

A shaded Bodonian display typeface designed by Aldo Novarese in 1989, offered in both a shadow Outline version and a clean Regular that exposes the underlying classical structure.

About

Designed at the direct request of Reber R41, Proclam pairs Bodoni's high-contrast serif skeleton with a bold shadow treatment that gives the Outline variant a theatrical, almost playful presence. The Regular companion removes the shadow entirely, allowing the typeface to function as a more restrained display face for headings and presentation work. The two variants together offer contrasting moods within a single coherent design.

Classification

A Bodonian display typeface with a shadow treatment that partially obscures the letterforms. The Regular variant strips away the shadow to reveal the underlying classical structure, placing this firmly in display serif territory.
