Escabeau
Typothèque Bye Bye Binary · Max Lilllo

An all-capitals slab serif designed for protest placards, with heavy serifs and an explicitly anti-capitalist glyph set that omits currency symbols.
About
Escabeau is a bold, full-capitals mécane built for shouting: its sturdy serifs and display weight suit hand-lettered placards and militant slogans. In keeping with its queer-feminist politics, the typeface includes no monetary glyphs and is released as open-source, expressly intended to be damaged, cut up or retraced by hand. The design reflects the convergence-of-struggles ethos of the movement it was made for.
Classification
A full-capitals slab serif (mécane) with bold, sturdy serifs designed for large-scale placard and protest use. The all-caps construction and heavy bracketed serifs place it firmly in the slab tradition.
