A monolinear slab with rounded terminals, revived from the teaching of Strasbourg lettering master Alfred Erdmann.
About
Erdmann Schrift has the even stroke and ball-ended serifs of a pen-drawn lettering alphabet, so it reads warm and a little old-fashioned without turning quaint. Six weights run from a fine Hairline to a sturdy Bold, and a skeleton SVG font gives the bare centre line for plotting or animation. It suits headlines, signage and identities that want craft without a script.
Classification
A monolinear face with rounded, ball-ended slab serifs and a single-stroke construction, drawn from the lettering manuals of Alfred Erdmann. Its even stroke and blunt terminals sit between a slab serif and a lettering alphabet.
