Orden specimen from ParaType

A single-weight Cyrillic display face drawing on antique letterforms rarely seen in modern typography, designed by Oleg Karpinsky between 2000 and 2001.

About

Orden revives archaic Cyrillic letterforms including a diagonal-stroke N, symmetrical Y, and distinctive Ч and Щ characters absent from most contemporary typefaces. The font operates entirely in capitals, with the lowercase positions occupied by upper case letters alongside a handful of alternate variants. Old-style figures complete the specialised character set, making it suited to poster and advertising contexts.

Classification

An all-capitals Cyrillic display face with archaic letterforms and old-style figures, designed primarily for advertising and poster use rather than continuous text.
