Rémi Forte wrote a Python program that applies a pattern of horizontal or vertical lines to each glyph over an elementary frame, after Karl Gerstner's Designing Programmes and Knuth's Metafont. The interpolation from Thin to Black takes the stroke from the thinnest possible to the thickest, flirting with illegibility at both ends. Capitals only.
