About
Designed by Diego Maldonado in 2020, Wright takes its visual cues from the hand-lettered annotations on modernist building drawings, resulting in a small x-height, tall ascenders and wide capital proportions well-suited to display and short-form setting. The family is organised into four subfamilies – Pro, Deco, Funk and Roman – each sharing the same six-weight range with matching italics. An extensive set of alternates and ligatures extends its flexibility across a range of design applications.
