ATC Timberline specimen from Avondale Type Co.

A five-weight geometric sans with obliques, styled after mid-century modern design culture and the neo-futurist aesthetic of the 1950s and 60s.

About

ATC Timberline v2.0 spans five weights from Light to Black, each with a matching oblique, giving the family ten styles in total. Its neo-futurist framing draws on the visual language of mid-20th-century industrial and architectural design, evoking the era of Charles and Ray Eames. The result is a clean, structured sans suited to editorial, branding and display applications with a period flavour.

Classification

The neo-futurist aesthetic and mid-century modern reference points suggest a geometric sans with clean, constructed letterforms inspired by 1950s–60s industrial and furniture design culture.
