A modular typeface constructed on a five-by-nine square grid, offered in three stylistic variants — Square, Radius and Fusion — each with a proportional and monospaced cut.
About
Prog is built from a minimal kit of components on a strict five-by-nine grid, with the x-height occupying a five-by-five zone and two units above and below reserved for capitals, ascenders and descenders. Three variants offer distinct characters: Square uses hard edges throughout, Radius softens them, and Fusion introduces round O's, round punctuation and 45-degree X's for a more disruptive quality. A monospaced version exists in all three styles, constraining the wider M and W glyphs to the standard five-unit column. Full Western and Central European character sets are included across all versions.
Classification
A modular display typeface built on a five-by-nine square grid, placing it firmly in the geometric/modular display tradition. The three subfamilies (Square, Radius, Fusion) share the same underlying grid logic but differ in edge treatment and character substitution.
