Pixel Grid specimen from Caron Twice Fonts

A vast modular display family built on pixel-grid logic, offered in twelve subfamilies distinguished by unit shape – square, circle, heart, line and more – across six weights and three optical sizes.

About

Pixel Grid comprises 200 styles organised into subfamilies that replace conventional stroke construction with repeated shape units: squares, circles, hearts, diagonal lines, points and decorative variants such as Shadow, Plastic and Fashion. Six weight steps (Thin through Bold) and three size grades (S, M, XL) run across each subfamily, giving designers fine control over density and scale. The system suits screen interfaces, signage and motion graphics where a deliberate low-resolution aesthetic is required.

Classification

A pixel-grid display typeface built from modular dot or shape units (square, circle, heart, point, line, etc.), placing it firmly in the display category with a pixel/dot-matrix subcategory. Multiple subfamilies are defined by the shape of the grid unit rather than conventional stylistic distinctions.
