A Gill Kayo cousin rebuilt from a 1979 Soviet lettering handbook, sold as a new Black plus a faithful Cyrillic Replica.

About

Olivier comes from a face of that name in Rygor Klikushyn's 1979 Minsk handbook for design artists, one of his many Cyrillic takes on Western fonts. Alex Chumak reconstructed the source as Replica for a Kate NV music video, and Anfalov then took a few letters, the numerals and the proportions to make something new. Both cuts ship together.

Classification

An extremely heavy sans in the Gill Kayo mould with tiny counters and rounded terminals, sold as Black plus a Cyrillic-only Replica cut. Too heavy for anything but headlines, hence display.
