FF Kievit Serif specimen from FontFont

An old-style serif by Michael Abbink and Paul van der Laan, released in 2019 to complete the FF Kievit superfamily.

About

FF Kievit Serif takes cues from Garamond and Granjon but has a cleaner, current finish, with a big x-height that holds up on screen. Regular, Book and Bold are tuned for long text, and the family pairs directly with FF Kievit and FF Kievit Slab. A strong choice for brand systems that need a serif voice alongside a sans.

Classification

Old-style text serif drawing on Garamond and Granjon, built to sit with the FF Kievit sans and FF Kievit Slab. Large counters, a generous x-height and open apertures; seven weights from Light to Black with italics.
