About
LD Renommée began as Holger Königsdörfer's research into Jan van Krimpen's work during his master's studies at the KABK in The Hague. It shares uppercase letterforms between its Roman and Italic, a nod to Renaissance practice via Ludovico degli Arrighi, and reworks the historical forms for current typographic use rather than reproducing them as a facsimile.
