Eterne Text
Sharp Type · Kia Tasbihgou

A low-contrast old-style text serif by Kia Tasbihgou, its lively letterforms informed by Dwiggins' Marionette Formula and the old-style tradition of Miller & Richard.
About
Eterne Text is the body-copy counterpart to Eterne Display, a two-family pairing where the character of the broader Eterne family is translated into a system suited to longer reading. Shallow-shouldered arches, low contrast and evenly proportioned terminals recall Miller & Richard's Old Style Antique No. 7, while unexpected cuts and curves rooted in Dwiggins' Marionette Formula give the letterforms a lively tension between space and counter-space. Four weights with matching italics make up the eight-style family.
