A variable digital revival of the canonical Hebrew sans-serif that originated in the 1920s, now extended with width and roundness axes and paired with a matching Latin.
About
Haim's letterforms are built from rigid squares and straight lines that honour the inherent geometry of the Hebrew script, connecting the typeface to Bauhaus principles that circulated in the region during the 1920s. The variable format introduces a width axis spanning Compressed to Expanded and a roundness axis that adds subtle softness evoking historical wood type, neither of which existed in earlier versions. The bilingual family covers Hebrew with full niqqud support alongside an extended Latin with broad European language coverage.
Classification
A square-based Hebrew sans-serif rooted in Bauhaus values, constructed from stable, rigid squares and straight lines true to the inherent geometry of Hebrew letterforms. The variable digital revival extends the original with width and roundness axes.
