About

Joaquín Contreras Soto started from Berthold's Akzidenz-Grotesk as cut in metal at 10pt and took its spacing from the Buch version, then finished it largely by his own hand. Spacing, accents and punctuation are drawn for running text, and it has been proven in offset-printed books. Five weights from Light to Black, each with an italic, plus alternate a, g and u.
