About
Blur applies an optical blur to a conventional sans skeleton and then fixes the result as outlines, so the softness is built into the font rather than added afterwards. The three weights represent increasing degrees of degradation, from a legible haze to near-dissolution. It belongs to a moment when digital tools were new enough that using one this directly counted as an argument.
Classification
A display family whose forms are produced by applying an optical blur to a grotesque skeleton, in three progressively degraded weights. Display by construction: the softened edges are the design, and they collapse at text sizes.
