BBB Poppins TN
Typothèque Bye Bye Binary · Eugénie Bidaut & Camille°Circlude · 2022

A post-binary fork of the open-source Poppins, originally commissioned by the Théâtre National Wallonie-Bruxelles and now freely available under an OFL licence.
About
Designed by Eugénie Bidaut and Camille°Circlude, BBB Poppins TN adapts the geometric sans-serif Poppins to support inclusive, non-binary French typography – adding the interpunct-based middle dot forms used in gender-neutral writing. The family is split into Display and Text optical sizes, each spanning Regular, SemiBold, Bold and Black with matching italics. Originally produced for the Théâtre National Wallonie-Bruxelles's 2022–2023 season brochure, it is distributed freely under the SIL Open Font Licence.
Classification
A fork of Poppins, itself a geometric sans-serif with rounded terminals rooted in the Indian Type Foundry tradition. BBB Poppins TN preserves the geometric, low-contrast skeleton of the original while adding post-binary typographic conventions.
