BBB DM Sans
Typothèque Bye Bye Binary · Camille Circlude, Eugénie Bidaut, Mariel Nils, Bérénice Bouin · 2023

A post-binary fork of DM Sans that introduces interlaced, layered glyphs for non-binary inclusive characters in both lower case and capitals, released under the OFL.
About
Originally developed in 2023 by Camille Circlude, Eugénie Bidaut and Mariel Nils for the Théâtre Varia in Brussels, the typeface extends Colophon Foundry's DM Sans with a set of inclusive glyphs whose letterforms simulate overlapping foreground and background planes. In 2025, Bérénice Bouin extended the system with post-binary uppercase characters. The family is available in four weights and licensed under the Open Font Licence.
Classification
Based on DM Sans from Colophon Foundry, a geometric sans-serif. The post-binary fork adds interlaced, layered glyphs for non-binary inclusive characters, retaining the underlying geometric structure of the source typeface.
