A single-weight modular display typeface built on a strict macro/micro grid, with equal cap and lowercase heights and diacritics that fold back within the em box.
About
Each glyph is constructed from three macro modules, each subdivided into 24 micro modules arranged across a six-column grid. Uppercase and lowercase letters share the same height, and all accent marks are designed to sit within the em box by default, making it well-suited to tight-leading headline settings. A stylistic set moves diacritics outside the em box for text-level applications, and the simple modular structures lend themselves to stencil work, vector graphics and DIY display contexts.
Classification
Retiler is built on a strict macro/micro modular grid, giving it a constructed, geometric character suited to display use. Its equal cap and lowercase heights and self-contained diacritic system place it firmly in experimental display territory.
