A two-family grotesque collection built for Yury Dud's YouTube channel, offering 18 styles differentiated by tone rather than weight or width.
About
Designed in 2019 by Ilya Ruderman (Lurk A) and Yury Ostromentsky (Lurk B), the collection replaces the conventional Bold/Light/Condensed axis with an emotional one: neutral, harsh, smooth, noisy, discreet. The result is a single typographic language capable of carrying different editorial registers without recourse to additional graphic elements. Lurk B includes a bonus file in which the first three styles are combined into one typeface with alternates.
Classification
A sans-serif grotesque family designed for screen and editorial use, differentiated not by conventional weight or width axes but by tonal variation – neutral, harsh, smooth, noisy, discreet – reflecting its origins as a bespoke YouTube channel identity.
