Lagarto
Sudtipos · Gabriel Martinez Meave

A digital revival of a colonial Mexican manuscript by scribe Luis Lagarto, preserving three distinct historic hands.
About
Lagarto translates an eccentric, late-1500s manuscript found by editorial publisher Blacamán Ediciones into a digital family, keeping the baroque Roman roundhand, ornate Italic and playful small caps of the original scribe. Since the manuscript had no numerals or modern punctuation, part of the work involved inferring these from the existing hands.
Classification
