SB Prophan
Studio Sascha Bente · Sascha Bente

A display sans revival of an 1878 Nebiolo face, deliberately mixing condensed and regular widths within the same alphabet.
About
Prophan works from Etrusco Nero Moderno, a face Nebiolo took over from Turin's Società Augusta in 1878, translating its triangular-and-rectangular curve construction into digital form. Some letters run condensed and others regular within the same typeface, and a stylistic set removes descenders entirely for tighter, collision-free line spacing.
Classification
