MegaMegaTypeType
A sturdy, warm text serif from Studio Feixen in four weights, with a wide-set Writer cut that leans towards a typewriter.
About
Studio Feixen Serif comes in Book, Regular, Medium and Bold, with bracketed serifs, ball terminals and enough weight to hold up in editorial settings. Its Writer family repeats the four weights with wider, more even spacing, giving a typewriter flavour that pairs naturally with the foundry's Mono. It is sold through the store rather than on a page of its own.
Classification
Sturdy bracketed serifs, moderate contrast and ball terminals on a, j and y give it the feel of a robust contemporary text serif with a little old-fashioned warmth. The Writer cut sets the same letters wider and more evenly spaced, leaning towards a typewriter face without being strictly monospaced.
