Studio Feixen's own house typeface turned retail family: a friendly geometric sans in seven weights with italics, an Edgy cut and a Mono.
About
Felix Pfäffli and Robin Eberwein drew Studio Feixen Sans as the studio's corporate face, and releasing it is what started the foundry. Version 2.0 runs seven weights from Ultralight to Bold with italics, plus Edgy, which trades curves for sharp cuts across three stylistic sets, and a monospaced Mono. Alternates for a double-storey a, a different g and y, rounded and calmer forms, and a small set of icons let one family cover quiet text and loud branding alike.
Classification
A geometric skeleton with round bowls and flat terminals, softened by a slightly naive, friendly drawing. The Edgy cut swaps curves for sharp vertical cuts and the Mono cut sets the same design on a fixed width, so the family spans plain geometric text use and more characterful display work.
