Merlod specimen from Stawix Foundry

A 21-style display sans-serif drawn from Latin-American sign painting, organised into three design directions – Norme, Autre and Queue – each available in seven weights.

About

Released in 2017 by Stawix Ruecha, Merlod reinterprets the lettering conventions of Latin-American sign painting into a structured type family with three distinct styles. Norme, Autre and Queue each carry their own character whilst remaining visually compatible, giving designers a flexible toolkit for expressive branding or editorial work. Multiple stylistic sets via OpenType features extend the range of creative possibilities within the 883-glyph set.
