PT Sans was commissioned by Rospechat to mark the 300th anniversary of Peter the Great's orthography reform, with a brief to cover almost every minority language of the Russian Federation alongside Latin. Basic weights are free under an open licence, while a Pro edition adds light, demi-bold, extra-bold and black weights across narrow, condensed and extra-condensed widths. A genuine workhorse rather than a display statement.
