A typeface derived from ISO 3098 technical drawing standards, redesigned with true italics, wider proportions and an extensive OpenType feature set including small caps, fractions and 270 pictographic symbols.
About
Originally drawn from the ISO 3098 standard issued in 1974, Isotext Pro departs from its engineering origins through revised glyph widths for improved readability in running text as well as short-form setting. The Pro version adds true italics in place of earlier obliques, and supports 19 OpenType features alongside multilingual coverage across Latin, Greek and Cyrillic scripts. Each style also ships with 270 copyright-free symbols spanning packaging, transport, environment and urban life.
Classification
Derived from ISO 3098 standards for technical drawing lettering, the design sits in a technical sans-serif tradition with a single-stroke, engineering-influenced construction and rounded terminals, redesigned for typographic use.
