neue Easo

A contemporary expansion of the DIN EN ISO 3098 Isonorm standard into five weights, each offered upright, italic and reverse italic, with ink traps added for improved text performance.
About
Derived from the Isonorm technical lettering specification, neue Easo adjusts the monolinear strokes for optical consistency and introduces ink traps to aid smaller text settings. Five weights from Thin to Bold are each available in three styles: upright, italic at +15° and a reverse italic at -15°. The family spans three subfamilies – neue Easo, neue Easo Eng and neue Easo Mono – all sharing identical character sets, style counts and vertical metrics.
Classification
A monolinear sans-serif derived from the DIN EN ISO 3098 (Isonorm) technical lettering standard, expanded with multiple weights and a reverse italic. Its engineering origins place it firmly in the technical/DIN sans tradition.
