An experimental five-style display family from 1996, derived from Tagir Safayev's PT Hermes and given a ragged, graffiti-inflected character by Alexander Tarbeev.
About
Designed at ParaType (then ParaGraph) in 1996, Graffiti takes the structural foundation of PT Hermes (1993) and pushes it toward an irregular, decorated aesthetic suited to poster and advertising work. Its five styles offer variations on that rough, graffiti-influenced theme rather than a conventional weight range. Intended use is display and advertising typography.
Classification
An experimental display family with ragged, graffiti-inspired letterforms derived from PT Hermes. The irregular, decorated character places it firmly in the display/decorative category rather than any conventional text classification.
