About
Originally released in 2021 with an experimental approach to Arabic letterforms, On was reconstructed from scratch by Mesbahi for version 2.0, issued in February 2025. The family spans six weights and supports over nine Arabic script languages including Persian, Urdu, Kurdish, Pashto and Uyghur. OpenType features include ligatures, stylistic alternates and tabular numerals, alongside a Latin character set designed to sit comfortably alongside the Arabic.
