Lahzeh
NoonFont · Hossein Heidari, Mahan Jafarzadeh · 2025

A geometric Arabic-script display family in nine weights and four stretch variants, distinguished by deliberate structural breaks that give the letterforms a distinctive, playful character.
About
Designed by Hossein Heidari and Mahan Jafarzadeh, Lahzeh covers Arabic, Persian, Urdu, Kurdish, Turkish and Jawi, alongside currency symbols for Rial, Toman, Bitcoin and Tether. Its geometry is offset by intentional interruptions in stroke continuity, giving it personality at large sizes. While suited to headlines, billboards and social media, the family also aims for readability in longer texts. Version 2.0 includes a variable font with weight and stretch axes.
Classification
A geometric Arabic-script display typeface with modular construction, distinctive breaks, and variable weight and stretch axes, designed primarily for headlines and large-format use across Persian, Arabic and related scripts.
