About
Kook began as a straightforward geometric typeface before the designer introduced angled pen strokes, joint breaks and unconventional letterform bends to enrich its texture at smaller sizes. The family covers Persian, Arabic, Kurdish and Urdu alongside a Latin companion based on the open-source Athiti. Six weights from ExtraLight to ExtraBold make it suited to advertising, UI design and social media, though it is not optimised for sustained long-form reading.
