기후위기한글 (Climate Crisis Font: Hangul)

A Hangul adaptation of Helsingin Sanomat's Climate Crisis Font, using an OpenType variable axis tied to Arctic sea ice measurements from 1979 to 2019 and IPCC projections through 2050.
About
The weight axis of this variable font maps directly to NSIDC sea ice data and IPCC climate forecasts, so letterforms visually thin as the projected ice cover shrinks. Originally conceived by Finland's largest newspaper as a Latin typeface, this project extends the concept to the Korean writing system. The result is a data-driven display face that communicates climate urgency through typographic form rather than conventional graphic language.
Classification
An OpenType variable font whose weight axis is driven by Arctic sea ice data, making it a conceptual/display typeface. The variable axis is the defining structural feature rather than any historical typographic classification.
