A strange ornamental sans revived from the lettering that came with the EEC's ℮ sign in 1971.
About
The capitals are part blackletter, part technical drawing, and the result feels slightly alien. The numerals are plainer, with rounded ends borrowed from draughting templates. Use it for packaging, labels and sci-fi or bureaucratic pastiche where a little unease helps.
Classification
A near-facsimile of the alphanumerics issued with the EEC's ℮ estimated sign in 1971. The capitals lean towards blackletter in structure but are drawn as naive schematic sans forms, and the figures have rounded industrial terminals. The source was a limited set; Monokrom expanded it to 303 glyphs.
