MegaMegaTypeType
The founding face of the MNKY library, a low-contrast geometric sans whose curves bend banana-wards when you look closely.
About
Banana Grotesk runs from Extralight to Extrabold with matching italics and a variable font. The bones are geometric and modern, but the odd curve swells into something fruitier, which gives it a display personality at size while staying quiet enough for text. Every other MNKY family takes its cue from this one.
Classification
Low-contrast geometric sans with rounded, banana-like curves creeping into otherwise constructed shapes.
