A revival of Roger Excoffon's 1956 script Diane, preserving both his elaborate original capitals and the simplified caps of the later release.
About
Diane Script and its companion Diane Script Première revive Roger Excoffon's 1956 design in both the forms it was originally released in: the elaborate swirly-cap first version and the simplified-cap version that followed. Simonson added characters missing from the original, including an ampersand, drawing two versions, a plain one and a fancy one, both bundled into the Première cut. The typeface is owned by Grosse Pointe Group and sold under their licence rather than Simonson's own.
