Decour
Latinotype · Jorge Cisterna · 2015

An Art Deco-proportioned slab serif with low stroke contrast and a pronounced x-height difference between upper and lower case, available in 28 styles across standard and condensed widths.
About
Designed by Jorge Cisterna and published in 2015, Decour takes its proportions from Art Deco design, giving it a distinctive tall cap height relative to its lowercase. The low contrast between thick and thin strokes produces sturdy, even letterforms suited to headings and subheadings, while the condensed subfamily extends its usefulness to tighter editorial and retail contexts. Seven weights from Thin to Black, each with a matching italic, are available in both widths.
Classification
A slab serif with low stroke contrast and proportions derived from Art Deco design. The geometric, low-contrast letterforms with equal-weight serifs place it firmly in the geometric slab category.
