Somaya draws on the Naskh calligraphic tradition, mixing classical letterform proportions with a clean, modern sensibility across Light, Regular, Medium, Bold and Black. The family includes a range of OpenType features: alternate characters, two styles of cursive letterforms, ligatures, reduced-descender alternates and elongated letterforms.
