Riegla takes its references from early sans types including Figgins Sans and Breite Grotesk, favouring contrast and character over mid-century neutrality. Ten weights with italics give solid range across text and display settings, while Jazz and Classic alternate sets let the typeface shift register without switching family. It was released alongside the companion fusion serif Riegraf, the two sharing enough structural DNA to pair naturally across a page.
