A semi-mono dot-matrix display face in eight renderings, from square pixels and dots to barcode stripes.
About
EXT Trafic takes the narrow letters of transit displays and departure boards and rebuilds them eight ways on one grid: square pixels, rounded pixels, circles, fat bubbles and horizontal or vertical barcode bars. The styles share their metrics, so they can be swapped or layered within a word. Express Type sell each style as a beta single cut, licensed by email at a flat rate.
Classification
A narrow semi-monospaced display face drawn on a pixel grid, issued in eight renderings of the same skeleton: square pixels, rounded pixels, circles, overlapping bubbles and horizontal and vertical barcode strokes in sharp and rounded versions. The grid and the signage references place it in display, alongside LED and dot-matrix faces.
