MegaMegaTypeType
A free, tall and narrow display face drawn on a grid from the arches of old cloisters.
About
Cloître stacks tall, narrow letters with flat sides and arched tops, like a row of columns in a monastery walk. It is built on a grid, with variants for letters such as M, and comes in a sharp Regular and a softer Rounded. The latest version adds lowercase; tighten the spacing when setting it large.
Classification
Condensed display face on a grid, after the shapes of cloisters and other historic Christian buildings, in Regular and Rounded. The new version adds lowercase; some letters such as M have variants. Free on the foundry's Gumroad.
