Released in November 2022 by designers Hendra Maulia and Aulia Rahman, Lingkawi South ships as a single Regular weight with a competent OpenType build covering stylistic alternates, discretionary ligatures, stylistic sets and PUA-encoded glyphs. The dancing baseline aesthetic puts it in a very crowded category of market scripts, and while the technical construction is functional, the design concept does little to set it apart from the many similar releases from the same studio and the wider Indonesian foundry scene.
