Sameo
Babelfont · Brahim Boucheikha, Gia Tran, Jean-Baptiste Pernette, Étienne Guégano, Léo Rosina

A sharp, reverse-contrast display typeface covering Latin, Arabic, Tifinagh and Hangul in three weights, built for distinctive visual identities across scripts.
About
Sameo merges upper and lowercase forms into a single expressive voice, using reverse contrast and clean, angular construction to give it an immediately recognisable character. The family is multiscript by design, with Arabic, Tifinagh and Hangul variants developed alongside the Latin to achieve optical consistency across writing systems. Three weights – Light, Regular and Black – are available per script, sold in script-specific packages.
Classification
Sameo is classified as a display typeface owing to its sharp lines, unexpected reverse contrast and expressive blending of upper and lowercase forms. The reverse contrast construction and multiscript ambition place it firmly outside workhorse categories.
