An eccentric geometric typeface released in 2018, built on circles, triangles and squares, with full support for Hebrew, Latin and Cyrillic across seven weights including a hollow variant.
About
Anomalia's letterforms derive from three elementary geometric shapes – circle, triangle and square – producing an idiosyncratic character that sits apart from conventional grotesques. Its seven weights run from Light to Ultrabold, with an additional Hollow cut, and the family covers 183 Latin and Cyrillic languages alongside Hebrew with full nikud (diacritics). Cyrillic letterforms were designed by Anna Khorash, and the font includes OpenType features such as discretionary ligatures, contextual alternates and stylistic sets.
Classification
Built on elementary geometric forms – circle, triangle and square – giving it an eccentric, decorative character that places it firmly in the display category rather than workhorse geometric sans territory.
