sans-serifneutral sans
Almoni specimen from AlefAlefAlef

A precisely neutral sans-serif by Avraham Cornfeld, spanning ten weights and supporting Hebrew, Latin and Cyrillic simultaneously across 230 languages.

About

Designed in 2012 and now at version 5, Almoni is one of Israel's most widely used typefaces, built specifically for bilingual Hebrew and Latin settings. Its deliberate absence of stylistic idiosyncrasy means it yields to the content rather than competing with it, making it a long-term workhorse for a wide range of applications. The Cyrillic was designed by Anna Khorash, and the font contains 1,151 glyphs alongside an extensive set of OpenType features.

Classification

A deliberately neutral, multi-script sans-serif designed to avoid stylistic personality, supporting Hebrew, Latin and Cyrillic in a single unified family across ten weights.
