Typothèque Bye Bye Binary · Elliot Thomas

A rounded, single-stroke cursive script developed by Elliot Thomas as a vehicle for inclusive writing practices, drawing directly on the French national handwriting model.
About
Each letterform is drawn in a single continuous stroke, producing the looping, flowing rhythm associated with French school handwriting. The design takes its cue from La·e Cancre by Sophie Vela, which itself derives from the Éducation Nationale's Écriture A standard. Composed entirely of curves, the typeface has a playful, dancing quality and was created as part of a DNMADE graphic design programme at Gobelins.
Classification
A single-weight cursive script drawn in continuous single strokes per letter, closely modelled on the French national cursive handwriting standard (Écriture A), placing it firmly in the handwriting script subcategory.
