BBB Manifont Grotesk specimen from Typothèque Bye Bye Binary

A post-binary fork of Alexandre Liziard and Étienne Ozeray's Manifont Grotesk, drawn by Sophie Vela and Max Lillo for the 2024 ENSAD-PSL graduate catalogue and released under the CUTE licence.

About

The design traces its lineage through two forks: Manifont Grotesk (itself derived from Roman Gornitsky's Vremena Grotesk) to BBB Manifont Grotesk, adapted for the layout collective Bye Bye Binary's publication After 2024. Available in Book and Book Italic, the family is deliberately minimal in scope, purpose-built for editorial use and distributed freely. Its release under the CUTE licence reflects the collective's commitment to open, inclusive access.

Classification

A post-binary fork of Manifont Grotesk, itself a fork of Vremena Grotesk, placing it squarely in the grotesque sans-serif tradition with humanist influences inherited through its lineage.
