A single-style experimental display font whose sinuous, narrow letterforms are drawn from botanical forms such as seaweed and ferns, available in one italic style with 464 glyphs and 19 OpenType features.
About
Developed in TypeType's Creative Lab from the premise of combining tight spacing with true italic construction, TT Qurdisma takes its name from the Greek κούρδισμα, meaning sinuous. Uppercase letters carry complex twisted forms and looping strokes, whilst lowercase characters repeat a calmer arch-with-tentacle motif. The family supports over 120 languages across Latin and Cyrillic scripts and includes swash alternates, two eszett variants and standard ligatures.
Classification
A single-style experimental display font built on the concept of a true italic with tight spacing, featuring sinuous botanical forms and looped letterforms. Its narrow, dense construction and ornamental character place it firmly in the decorative display category.
